Here we go again! I'm back as a guest participant for another One Room Challenge but this time around with an exciting twist - I'm working on a room in someone else's house! That specific someone else is my friend Robin who needed some help with her powder bathroom which used to look like this:
It desperately needed some better lighting and suffered from some pretty dated 90's sponge painting. Stuck in this bygone decade, our husbands gave it the cheeky nickname: the cocaine bathroom. The good news is it had a lot of potential to be something fun and updated with some more or less cosmetic upgrades. Now it was a matter of deciding which direction to go with it.
I offered my assistance to Robin (in exchange for wine and some of her amazing ferments) in coming up with a game plan for this upgrade so we started where else but on Pinterest to gather some inspiration. Here's a sampling of some of our pinned images:

After curating some inspiration images I sat down with Robin and we picked apart what she liked about some of them to give a direction to start going with the design. Check back next week for how we went from this inspo to a mood board. Any guesses which of these four images really spoke to Robin and her aesthetic?
